Meet Cate – Founder, Visionary, and Heart Behind The Rewilding Collective

Cate is the founder and director of The Rewilding Collective — a practice born from her deep belief in healing, reclamation, and the power of coming home to yourself. A heart-led leader, trauma-informed therapist, and mother to two teenage boys, Cate brings soul, depth, and decades of experience to the work she does.

With a rich professional background spanning leadership in the NGO sector, case work, teaching, project management, curriculum design, advocacy, and community development, Cate has spent her life walking alongside others — often those most at risk — with compassion, clarity and fierce integrity. Since 2016, she has supported clients across the globe in their mental health, emotional wellbeing, and spiritual growth. She also offers clinical and reflective supervision to fellow Social Workers, Psychologists, Counsellors, and spiritual care practitioners.

Cate’s work is intuitive, evidence-based, and deeply personalised. She weaves together a phenomenological approach with modalities including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, holistic spirituality, Jungian frameworks, esoteric mysticism, and the Enneagram — always guided by what her clients need most. She holds particular expertise in supporting individuals recovering from PTSD, narcissistic abuse, spiritual and religious trauma, and complex presentations.

At the heart of it all, Cate is a space holder. A truth teller. A woman devoted to helping others return to wholeness and leading our team to do the same.

Querida believes in finding simplicity in life, whether that be external (she actually lives in a tiny house on wheels), or internal by cutting through the stories we tell ourselves that make life more complicated than it needs to be.

Querida loves nothing more than supporting and guiding you to your centre, where you too can leave behind the complex mind-chatter and tap in to that little voice that whispers as a clear, succinct knowing.
